What this is
A project is the top-level container for a single client engagement. Every subsequent audit step, client profile, documents, interviews, analysis, deliverables, lives inside a project. You create one project per client audit. Before you start
- You must have an active Audity account on any paid plan (Solo, Team, or Enterprise).
- You need the client’s company name and a rough sense of their industry and size. You can update these later.
- Check your credit balance on the project dashboard before starting if you plan to run web intelligence immediately after setup.
Procedure
- Open app.auditynow.com and navigate to Projects.
- Click New project.
- Enter a project name, typically the client company name or an internal engagement reference.
- Select the client’s industry and company size from the dropdown menus. These values seed the discovery questionnaire and framework defaults.
- Click Create project.
- You are taken to the project dashboard, where the lifecycle begins with step 2: client profile.
Project names are internal to your workspace. Clients never see the project name unless you include it in a deliverable.
Limits and gating
- Solo plan: No limit on the number of projects you can create, but concurrent active analysis jobs are limited.
- Team / Enterprise: Multiple team members can collaborate on the same project. Enterprise plans have no project cap.
- You cannot delete a project that has active analysis jobs running. Wait for the job to complete or time out first.
