Team and Enterprise plans use per-seat billing. You pay for the number of seats you have provisioned, regardless of whether every seat is occupied by an active member.

How seats are billed

  • Billing is managed through Paddle.
  • Your subscription renews monthly or annually depending on the billing cycle you chose at checkout.
  • Each seat you add is charged at the per-seat rate shown on the Audity pricing page.
  • Seats are charged at the account level, not per user, an empty seat still counts toward your bill.

Adding seats

To add seats before inviting a new teammate:
  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscription.
  2. In the Seats section, use the seats selector to choose the new total seat count.
  3. Click Update seats.
  4. Review the prorated charge in the Paddle checkout and confirm.
The new seats are available immediately after Paddle confirms the payment. You can then invite teammates from Dashboard → Admin → Users. A prorated charge covers the remainder of the current billing period. Starting from your next renewal, the full new seat count is billed.

Removing seats

To reduce your seat count:
  1. First, remove any teammates whose seats you want to reclaim. See Seats and roles.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Subscription.
  3. Reduce the seat count using the seats selector.
  4. Click Update seats and confirm.
You cannot reduce your seat count below the number of active members. For example, if you have 3 active members you must keep at least 3 seats. Seat reductions take effect at the next billing renewal. You will not receive a refund for unused seats in the current period.

Seat changes and your invoice

Viewing billing history

  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscription.
  2. Click Billing history to see past invoices.
  3. Click any invoice to download a PDF receipt.
Invoices are issued by Paddle on behalf of Audity.

Payment methods

Payment methods are managed in the Paddle customer portal:
  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscription.
  2. Click Manage payment method.
  3. You are redirected to the Paddle portal to update your card or billing details.

Canceling the Team plan

To cancel your Team subscription:
  1. Go to Dashboard → Subscription.
  2. Click Cancel plan.
  3. Confirm cancellation in the dialog.
Your account reverts to Solo at the end of the current billing period. All team members beyond the first seat lose access at that point. Projects and audit data are retained.
