# Manage your subscription

> View and change your plan, reactivate a paused subscription, and understand what happens when your account is deactivated.

You manage your Audity subscription from **Dashboard → Subscription** (`/dashboard/subscription`). This page shows your current plan, next billing date, credit usage, and available actions.

## Viewing your subscription

The subscription page displays:

* **Current plan**, Solo, Team, or Enterprise
* **Billing period**, start and end dates for your current cycle
* **Next charge date and amount**
* **Credit usage meter**, how many credits you've used this period and how many remain (see [Credits and usage](/guide/account-billing/credits-and-usage))

## Upgrading or downgrading

1. Go to **Dashboard → Subscription**.
2. Click **Change plan**.
3. Select the new plan and confirm.

**Upgrades** take effect immediately. Your credit allowance increases right away and you are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing period.

**Downgrades** take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your existing plan's features and credits until then.

## Reactivating a subscription

If your subscription was cancelled or your account was deactivated, you can reactivate it from the reactivation page (`/reactivate`).

1. Sign in to your Audity account.
2. You will be redirected to the reactivation page automatically if your account is deactivated.
3. Select a plan and enter payment details.
4. Click **Reactivate**, your account is restored immediately.

All your existing audits, firm profile data, and settings are preserved during a deactivation period. See [Cancellation](/guide/account-billing/cancellation) for details on how long data is retained.

## Deactivated accounts

When a subscription lapses (payment failure or cancellation), your account enters a **deactivated** state. While deactivated:

* You cannot run new audits or generate deliverables.
* Your existing data (audits, reports, firm profile) remains intact.
* You can still sign in and view the deactivation page.
* A banner prompts you to reactivate.

To restore full access, follow the reactivation steps above.
